Get your studio "on the map!"

The Studio Tour is designed to connect art-makers with art-lovers and inspire creativity through cross-pollenization of ideas.

Opening one's studio to the public offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into the artists work process. 

Artists can benefit from getting feedback on their current works in progress, as well as connecting with other artists on the studio tour.

It's time again for the Woodstock Artists Studio Tour!

When: Saturday October 9, Sunday October 10 2010

Where: your studio

In order to participate, artists' studios must be located in or near Woodstock.

cost to participate: $20

To enter, please send your contact info (name, street address, physical location of your studio, email, phone, website) to Aurora at info@flyingrainbowlasagne.com 

or you may send your info and $20 payment directly to:

Guidelines for Participating Artists:

*Be sure your studio is welcoming and safe: trim vegetation, display your sign prominently, clear walkways, no garbage, all solvents and chemicals sealed

*If parking is an issue, post clear signs of "No Parking" or "Ok to Park"

*Have some food or drink for guests!  (People linger longer over food)  Music is nice too.

To Participate:

Artists must live or work in the Woodstock area.

Artists must also be willing to open their space to the public during the hours of the tour.

The $20 participation fee can be sent to:

Once registered, the name of the artist and studio location will be added to the Studio Tour Map.

There will be NO CHARGE for the map, since the idea is to encourage as many visitors as possible.

 

 

Want to volunteer?

You can:

*invite fellow artists on your personal email list to participate

*publicize the Studio Tour by sending out announcements to your personal mailing list (anouncement will be posted on this website as well)

*set up a reciprocal link from your personal website to this website

*help in distributing the Studio Tour Map during and immediately before the Studio Tour

*help to create signs (to post in front of individual studio as well as on major roads)

*help to post signs and balloons on the day of/day before the actual event
